It's been a while since I've posted on my blog because all I've been doing is work, work, and more work! Though, I finally got a day off today, and decided to take my boyfriend to see our zoo. We had such a great day, even though it was kind of hot out.
There were all kinds of surprises, like this peahen and her eggs.
The albino porcupine was expected but I got to catch his sleepy face napping through the heat.

The biggest surprise was the baby emus. It pretty much made my day.
I didn't get any fantastic pictures, but I had a great day away from work and I'm hoping I can spend more time with my camera soon; I'm getting rusty!

Yeah updates! You should go to the zoo again and seethe baby peachicks when they hatch. We got one on the Farm already, so cute. Rachel
