More Sad News

So at this very moment, Abby and I are sitting outside on the patio enjoying the calm summer afternoon weather. The two of us have some not-so-fun news to share with you, and I've procrastinated posting about it as I wanted to take some pictures to prove that she's still in one piece.

Last weekend, something happened to Miss Abby's tail, not sure what, but whatever it was it pulled her tail hard enough that part of her spinal cord got damaged. Thankfully, she can still walk and her tail wasn't broken, but it is paralyzed. It affected her bladder so we've gotta watch that and help her stay groomed.

We're taking this one step at a time, and we'll see how things turn out. She was very lethargic at first, but she's been to the vet, and now her regular personality is reappearing. She's always been wonderful at letting us know when she needs something, so that will come in handy.

We'll get through this together.

Family Fireworks

So for pioneer day we had a little fireworks show of our own, because going to the ones in willow park was a little out of reach this time. It wasn't much, but it was enjoyable to spend time with the little family minus that brother I haven't seen out of his room in days...

Some Sad News

The family lost a best friend today. I'm sad to say I didn't get any newer pictures of Clifford before he passed away, but here are some old favorites.

Clifford showed us the very definition of unconditional love, and we're very blessed to have had him for as long as we have.

We miss you,
Rest in Peace, buddy.

Pictures of Cars and People

Misleading title, yes? Hello there, blog! I haven't seen you since Christmas. This is because my camera and I haven't really been on a field trip since then, so it's nice to be back behind the lens. Enjoy these pictures I took  of the fireworks tonight.

One last note before I post this:
These are all the annoyances I had to deal with while I was taking pictures. This explains my title, because from our viewpoint there were cars and people in the way of lots of these pictures. Since I don't have photoshop or skills related to that, I have to leave them in or crop them out, but whatever.
See you in another few months or so.
